How to connect Garmin activities on #Stepbystep
If you have got a Garmin smartwatch and you'd like to let #Stepbystep rewards the activity tracked by your Garmin, you simply need to sync your Garmin Connect app with Google Fit (Android) and Health (iPhone).
Google Fit (Android)
Unfortunately, this is not a smooth process, due to the fact that Garmin Connect doesn't automatically sync with Google Fit.
To sync your Garmin Connect to Google Fit, in fact, you need to use third Apps.
For example, you can use adidas Running (former Runtastic). To do so, sync adidas Running both with Garmin Connect and Google Fit. In this way, Garmin will communicate with adidas Running and adidas Running will communicate with Google Fit.
Some users also told us that you can also download a third app called Healthsync (you can find it by clicking here). This app, with a 7-days free trial, allows you to connect Garmin Connect with Google Fit.

Health (iPhone)
To connect your Garmin) to Health, you simple need to open Garmin Connect. From there, you can enable the communication with Health and let #Stepbystep reward you.
If you use your Garmin all day long, you can also let Health use only the Garmin data. To do so, you simply need to follow this indication:
- Open the Health app;
- Tap the Browse tab.
- Tap a category, then tap a subcategory.
- Scroll down, then tap Data Sources & Access.
- Tap Edit.
- Touch and hold the Change Order button next to a data source, then drag it up or down in the list.
- To turn off a data source so that it doesn't contribute any more data for that category, tap the checkmark next to the source.
- Tap Done.
